June 2025
A STRONG SIGNAL FOR THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY
Three days, over 300 guests and a concentrated load of the future. The VOEB annual conference in Steyr is one of the most important industry gatherings in the Austrian waste and recycling industry. STUMMER was there again with two innovative vehicles, plenty to talk about and lots of positive impressions.
As part of the accompanying trade exhibition in the Museum Arbeitswelt, STUMMER presented two vehicles with the latest Medium X4 body and ZK 2322 lifter – both on a fully electric Mercedes-Benz eActros. One vehicle was provided by Zellinger, the second by Energie AG.
Content that moves: Focus on sustainability
On the second day, the focus was on professional exchange in the historic setting of the Museum Arbeitswelt – everything revolved around the future of waste and recycling management. The accompanying sponsors’ exhibition in the Museum Arbeitswelt also proved to be a communicative platform for exchanging ideas with innovative companies in the sector.
The General Assembly, moderated by VOEB President Gabriele Jüly and Board Member Lukas Wessely, provided exciting insights into current developments and presented top-class speakers who addressed the central importance of waste management for the environment, economy and society. In his keynote speech, Federal Minister Norbert Totschnig underlined the importance of putting recyclates on an equal footing with primary raw materials – a strong signal in the direction of sustainable resource policy.
Three days full of energy and inspiration
