THIS IS WHAT YOUR PATH TO STUMMER LOOKS LIKE

To be able to apply to us, you must have already completed your 9th school year. After that, our doors are open to you and we look forward to receiving your application, which you can send to us either by e-mail or post.

After we have reviewed your application, we look forward to getting to know you. If you join us directly after the 9th school year, this typically takes place together with your parents or guardians. You are also welcome to spend your trial days with us so that you can be sure that an apprenticeship at STUMMER is just right for you!

If everything fits on both sides, your apprenticeship usually starts at the beginning of September and lasts 3.5 years at our company. An individualised curriculum will be developed for your apprenticeship – by and with apprentices – for apprentices! We value young talent in the company and would therefore be delighted if you would like to stay with us after your apprenticeship.

Apprenticeship as body and vehicle construction technician (M/F/D)

  • A passion for technology and large machines
  • An appetite for screwing, welding and flexing
  • Hands-on mentality, manual dexterity and conscientious work ethic
  • Interest in maths and physics

  • Various machining techniques for materials such as steel, aluminium and plastic
  • Turning, welding, milling, bending
  • Planning and manufacturing metal vehicle parts
  • Assembly techniques
  • Commissioning and testing assemblies, parts and systems as well as disassembly, repair and assembly
  • Fundamentals in the areas of vehicle technology and electronics, pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Basic knowledge of alternative drives, hydrogen fuel cell technology, e-mobility
  • Troubleshooting, fault rectification, carrying out maintenance work
  • You can also do a welding course and test, forklift licence and crane licence (indoor crane over 5t).
